This current body of work is an adventure into the realms of landscape. Using the patterns and colors of my natural surroundings to create a shot that is a pure and simple representation of a metaphysical expression of nature.

Earth and Sky

Film gives me a set of boundaries that I am constantly trying to break and with this series I changed my thought process of what the camera and film is. Utilizing the technique of double exposure inside the camera, I use my camera as my paintbrush and film as my canvas. The patterns and colors of landscapes are my subject matter that I use to recreate my inner feelings. These adventures into the realms of landscape to reproduce in photographic form the feelings I get out in nature. Pure and simple each image is a representation of my emotions and feelings in these spaces, sometimes twisting and turning, but always calm and at peace. I call this series: Earth and Sky.
